Speaker:

Abstract:

SDSU Mission Valley will serve higher education, the public good and the community’s goals and aspirations.  SDSU envisions a world class university campus set in a vibrant, mixed use development that is transit oriented and expands the university’s educational, research entrepreneurial and technology transfer programs.

This program will describe the university’s vision for the site, with a focus on the open space elements, starting with origins of the concept which was rooted in understanding the historic hydrology of the site. The presentation will also provide an update on the planning, environmental review, design and construction process, and outline opportunities for public input.
